C.E.D, a regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Chicago metropolitan market and Midwest region, hosted dealers and manufacturers at three events for its 16th annual Fall Ball series. Local dealers from its five-state territory were able to experience and receive training on new products such as Yamaha MusicCast before heading to CEDIA EXPO.
With representatives from nearly 30 manufacturers, 300 dealers came to C.E.D.’s Northbrook, IL, headquarters, its New Berlin, WI, location, and for the first time, its Bloomington, MN location to see the new fall product lines, network with other local professionals, and secure exclusive deals.
“I’ve been bringing my team to the C.E.D. Fall Ball event for three years now, and it never fails to impress with the countless product specials, manufacturers in attendance, and trainings,” said Joe Nicorata, owner of Umbrella Business Solutions. “The team at C.E.D. puts in the effort to make the Fall Ball a personalized experience and productive day for everyone who stops by.”
For well over a decade, the event has paired attendees with one-on-one access to leading manufacturers, in addition to personalized training sessions throughout the day. This year, C.E.D. brought in representatives from Yamaha and LG to each host three training sessions on their latest products that dealers will be working with.
“Every year, we put our heads together and come up with fresh ideas to make each event different, and more successful than the last,” said Avery Baron, president of C.E.D. “We brought in trainers and representatives from the brands that are currently shaping the marketplace, and gave our customers a chance to see the resources we have as a distribution partner.”
Attendees at all three events were also treated to exclusive sales and inventory opportunities such as extended dating on qualified orders and competitive pricing specials on fall lines.
