C.E.D. Invites Dealers for Product Peek at Fall Ball

Consumer Electronics Distributors (C.E.D.), a member of the PowerHouse Alliance and a premium regional distributor of consumer and specialty electronics for the Chicago metropolitan market and broader Midwest territory, will showcase a lineup of manufacturers at its Fall Ball product preview for October’s CEDIA EXPO.

“Over the past 15 years, we have developed great relationships with our local customer base, largely because of this annual event that allows them to have one-on-one quality conversations with manufacturers they want to work with,” said Avery Baron, president of C.E.D. “This year, since CEDIA EXPO takes place later in the fall, we had the unique opportunity to give our dealers a first-look at the products that will shape the end of 2015.”

For the first time, C.E.D. will host three separate events, the first, at its Northbrook, IL, headquarters on September 29, followed by New Berlin, WI on September 30 and will conclude the series on October 6 at its newest location in Bloomington, MN, unveiled at last year’s Fall Ball.

With extended show hours, dealers can stop by the location nearest them at a convenient time to walk through the show floor and network with representatives from brands such as Wyrestorm, Pioneer, Yamaha, LG, Sunbrite, Sanus, and several more. These vendors will have plenty of new products on hand to demo and answer any questions attendees may have.

C.E.D. will also host a number of training sessions throughout the day at both their Minnesota and Illinois events. Dealers who attend the event in Bloomington, MN will have three opportunities to sit in on an LG OLED TV training session, which includes an overview on the new product lineup. At the Northbrook, IL, event, attendees can sit in on three sessions focused on the new Yamaha MusicCast wireless multi-room speaker system that just hit the market.

Alongside a catered lunch and dinner, guests will also have access to unique sales and inventory opportunities such as extended dating on qualified orders and exclusive one-day-only pricing specials on a long list of products. To keep with tradition, C.E.D. is also offering hundreds of raffle prizes, and one lucky attendee at each location will win an LG OLED TV valued near $7,000.
