Most new electronic devices entering the residential market have some sort of networking requirement, and it is becoming more important for ESCs to understand IP and networking so they can properly install and troubleshoot these devices. CEDIA is offering a full-day IP and Networking workshop October 24 at the Indianapolis Training Facility.
This workshop is specifically designed for integrators with little to no experience with IP and networking. By the end of this course, integrators should be able to define an IP addressing scheme for a project, configure a router for internet access, perform basic troubleshooting tasks on LANs, and more.
