CEDIA has announced that the CEDIA China Conference and Expo held in Shanghai was a success and surpassed the organization’s expectations.
Stephen Miller, executive director for CEDIA Asia Pacific, and Robin Cai, CEDIA director of Asia, officially opened the expo with the assistance of local and international industry representatives with the blessing of the Shanghai local government officials.
“This expo is a really impressive show and the quality and quantity of attendees is also extraordinary,” said Mike Anderson, Russound’s vice president of sales and marketing.
“The year being the first CEDIA Conference and Expo in China, manufacturers and local distributors have out-done themselves,” said Kent Sheldon, Sonance, VP of international development.
The CEDIA Conference and Expo is the only residential system show in China, and like all CEDIA Expos, is trade only. The expo is an integral part of CEDIA’s strategic plan, to provide the Chinese market with the necessary tools for sales opportunities to broaden distribution channels locally and internationally and to deliver product information and specialized training sessions to attendees.
