Electronic systems contractors have only a few days remaining to submit their best projects for CEDIA’s Electronic Lifestyles Awards competition. The deadline for CEDIA Designer Awards entries is Friday, May 6 at 5 p.m. Pacific.
CEDIA’s Designer Awards recognize the top home technology projects completed by CEDIA members. Categories include Home Theater, Media Room, Integrated Home, Hidden Installation, Special Project, Sustainable Lifestyle Installation, and Showroom.
Entrants in the Home Theater, Integrated Home, Media Room, and Sustainable Lifestyle Installation categories will automatically be entered into the CEDIA / HGTVPro.com People’s Pick competition, to be voted on by HGTVPro.com visitors.
Deadlines are also approaching for CEDIA’s Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards, which honor the industry’s best product releases, as well as the Attendees’ Choice award, which recognizes the top product at CEDIA EXPO as voted on by attendees. Manufacturers’ Excellence Awards entries are due Friday, June 10 at 5 p.m. Pacific; Attendees’ Choice entries are due Friday, July 29 at 5 p.m. Pacific.
Nominations are also being accepted for CEDIA’s 2011 Lifetime Achievement Award, which will honor an individual who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the electronic systems industry and/or who has contributed outstanding volunteer service to CEDIA. The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 27 at 5 p.m. Pacific.
The Electronic Lifestyles Awards competition is open to CEDIA member companies only. Winners in all categories will be announced during the Electronic Lifestyles Awards Banquet on September 10 at CEDIA EXPO 2011.
