CEDIA Elevates Image at Builder Show

Indianapolis, IN--Later this month at the International Builders' Show in Las Vegas, CEDIA will unveil a high-energy traveling multimedia display that educates builders about the benefits of home networking and partnering with custom electronic designers and installers in the building process.

Indianapolis, IN–According to a CEDIA survey in 2003 of more than 280 Association members, more than 91 percent, said they work with custom builders and 79 percent said they work with mass-market tract builders. To that end, later this month at the International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas, CEDIA will unveil a high-energy traveling multimedia display that educates builders about the benefits of home networking and partnering with custom electronic designers and installers in the building process.

Called “The CEDIA Dome,” the Association’s display is packed with countless cutting-edge electronics elements from plasma screens to revolutionary audio systems, and provides a fully automated presentation about the pivotal role CEDIA members play in bringing the world of custom electronics to life.

Described as Las Vegas and Epcot wrapped into one, the CEDIA Dome will engulf viewers in stunning audio and visual presentations that are as much educational and informative about CEDIA’s purpose as they are spectacular and entertaining. The high-intensity production will provide information on home theater, security, lighting control and networking–all areas of service CEDIA members can provide to consumers.
