Median annual gross revenues among home-technology installers rose 22 percent to $1.23 million in 2013, surpassing 2012’s 10 percent growth, CEDIA found in its annual survey.
Installers expect continued revenue growth in 2014, with respondents’ forecasts pointing to 10 percent growth in integrators’ median annual revenues.
The survey also found that median operating profit margin increased from 3.5 percent in 2012 to 6 percent in 2013.
