Partnering with leading research firm, Ancrage Consulting LLC, CEDIA has launched the Integrated Home Market Analysis 2021 – Powered by CEDIA survey for the U.S. and United Kingdom. Integrators have been asked to respond to this concise yet in-depth survey, detailing their most frequently provided integrator service types, favored brands, sales volume, and the financial value of the work completed. Respondents look at their businesses from the last 12 months, while providing projections of the amount they expect to conduct over the course of the next 12-month time span. Market research also explores multiple categories, brand preference, and other industry trends as well.
“This is a hugely important survey for our industry,” says Giles Sutton, interim co-CEO of CEDIA. “It helps businesses of all shapes and sizes make data-led decisions on their investment, and hopefully, encourages others to join a growing space. Integrators initially have four weeks to complete the survey; it’s mobile-friendly, and can even be completed on site at CEDIA EXPO and Tech Summit London.”
“Ancrage looks forward to continuing our collaborative strategy development work with CEDIA, and through our in-depth research, to making contributions to the overall integrated home market, now and in the future,” says Brian Landis, president of Ancrage Consulting, LLC. “We hope that through this survey, integrators will be provided with greater market clarity during these challenging times, which remain unpredictable due to the Covid pandemic.”
Prior to this research survey, CEDIA collaborated with Ancrage Consulting on other projects, including Voice of the Integrator: Integrator Segments and Needs, which explored what integrators look for from manufacturer partners, and how the end-user customer market changes those needs. Ancrage Consulting combines high-level strategic business thinking with grass-roots implementation, helping both business and non-profit leaders.
