CEDIA Launches Newswire-Style Service

The organization sets out to connect the media with expert sources that can answer questions relating to the CI industry.

Indianapolis, IN–The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) has launched CEDIAwire, a newswire-style service for connecting media with expert sources who are qualified to answer questions about the residential electronic systems industry and about home technology design and installation in general.

CEDIAwire is a two-way pipeline that functions as a clearinghouse for reporters seeking expert sources and as a newswire for members informing them of opportunities to contribute to articles.

When a reporter calls with specific questions about home automation trends in New Jersey, for example, we will activate CEDIAwire and quickly be able to supply that reporter with several expert sources who are ready to be interviewed, said Jamie Antcliff, director of public relations marketing for CEDIA. Members who have significant experience and knowledge on a residential electronic systems topic should sign up for CEDIAwire today.

Media may also make inquiries through CEDIAwire, which will immediately be directed to the media relations staff. For more information visit www.cedia.org/pressresources.
