CEDIA Launches Web-based Interactive Program

The organization has incorporated interactive simulations into its e-Learning courses.

Indianapolis, IN–The Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) has launched the first-ever interactive e-Learning class for residential electronic systems contractors (RESCs).

Utilizing the latest technology, CEDIA has incorporated interactive simulations into the e-Learning courses where students can earn their continuing education units (CEUs). Four new e-learning classes will launch this month, bringing the total to 12 online courses offered by CEDIA.

E-Learning classes offer flexible scheduling for busy professionals. Class participants in ESDOL232-Home Theater Room Design, ESTOL311-Video Set-Up and Calibration, and ESTOL305-Audio Set-Up and Calibration will participate in virtual simulations as well as in-depth instruction.

With more than 4,000 active certified professionals, CEDIA University is the most successful professional education and certification program in the custom residential electronic systems industry, said Margaret Sheehan, senior director of professional development. We are constantly striving to provide our members with valuable opportunities that are designed specifically to connect with every member, regardless their learning style.

Students will also be able to learn at their own pace from home or office at an affordable cost. At the end of every class students will take an online assessment test to reinforce course objectives and understanding.
