Louisville, OH–At the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Expo this September, H-P Products Inc., is offering dealers/installers the opportunity to complete the central vac training program to earn 2.5 CEU Credits. H-P Products is currently the only manufacturer in this field to be CEDIA certified with their “Proper Installation of Central Vacuum Systems” course.
The installation course is spread over two levels and will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 8a.m. to 5 p.m. (including lunch and certification testing). During the first level, Chris Slackford, H-P Products’ field trainer, will lead students through a seminar, detailing central vacuum systems and installation practices. With hands-on exercises and demonstrations, the course explains exactly how a central vacuum system is installed in a home (new construction or retrofit) and why it is beneficial to the end-user.
For the second level, participants will install an actual central vacuum system in a Denver, Colorado, home (exact locale to be determined)–with Slackford walking participating installers through all of the necessary steps to complete a successful and timely installation. The students will then be asked to complete a brief examination, testing their knowledge to earn the credit needed to become CEDIA Certified for central vac installation.
Interested CEDIA dealers/installers should contact Audra Boone at 800-822.8356 ext. 2252 or aboone@hpproducts.net for more information or to enroll in the course.
