CES Innovations Awards Highlight Product Achievements

Arlington, VA--With more than 750 entries, the largest in its 14-year history, the Innovations Awards announced its 2004 honorees. Sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the Innovations Awards highlight product advancements in technology design and engineering. Winning entries will be showcased at the 2004 International CES.

Arlington, VA–With more than 750 entries, the largest in its 14-year history, the Innovations Awards announced its 2004 honorees. Sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), the Innovations Awards highlight product advancements in technology design and engineering. Winning entries will be showcased at the 2004 International CES.

The Innovations award program provides manufacturers and developers the opportunity to have their products judged by an independent panel of journalists, designers and engineers. Products receive industry-wide recognition while on display in the Las Vegas Convention Center Silver Exhibits during CES. A special Innovations 2004 Press Preview Reception will be held Tuesday, January 6 from 5-8 p.m. in the Silver Exhibits to view the honorees.

Innovations 2004 distinguishes the best products in design and engineering in the categories of accessibility, accessories, audio, computer hardware, digital imaging, electronic gaming, home appliances, home data networking, integrated home systems, mobile electronics, mobile office, office equipment, online/Internet, personal electronics, retail resource, satellite systems, software/embedded technology, telephones, video and wireless communications.
