Anaheim, CA — Premier Mounts has revealed its new ultra-thin flat-panel mount. Touted as the World’s Thinnest Mount it allows flat-panel TVs to hang on the wall like a picture.
Debuting at the 2009 CES trade show in Las Vegas (booth #20507), and available to consumers in mid-January, the Premier Mounts World’s Thinnest Mount (WTFM3765) allows flat-panel TVs to hang less than a half inch (.37 inches exactly) from the wall; closer than any other mount on the market. Combining form and function, the WTFM3765 fits flat-panels from 37 to 65 inches.
“Thinner TVs are now becoming the standard in high-end consumer electronics,” said Eric Mancini, product manager at Premier Mounts. “With the World’s Thinnest Mount, consumers can incorporate flat-panel TVs into their living space without compromising or cluttering their room’s décor; a flat-panel now can hang on the wall like a picture and contribute to — not take away from — the design of a space.”
“Despite the economic downturn, industry experts forecast that consumers will still purchase electronics and home goods.” said Mancini. “That said, consumers are being very deliberate with their purchase decisions. How a TV is mounted in a room is as important as how the room looks. Premier Mounts’ World’s Thinnest Mount provides homeowners with a sleek and sophisticated mounting solution that easily fits into any room décor.”
The WTFM3765’s unique design including an expandable back plate and brackets allow the mount to fit a wide range of displays on the market. The spring-loaded brackets with built-in safety release are designed to keep the flat-panel secure. The WTFM3765’s open design provides for easy cable and J-Box access. The mount features built-in lateral shift and supports up to 100 lbs. Available in a black powder-coat finish, Premier Mounts’ World’s Thinnest Mount has an MSRP of $229.99.
Premier Mounts’ World’s Thinnest Mount will be available to purchase online at www.premiermounts.com and in select retail outlets such as Sears, Fry’s and K-Mart.
