These outdoor rated PTZ Cameras provide pan, tilt, and zoom functions enabling wide area coverage and the ability to view objects in great detail with up to 560 lines of resolution. The 300-degree per second panning speed and 120-degree per second tilt speed allow the user to immediately pinpoint an exact location and then zoom in to capture a close-up view with a 27x optical zoom (f=3.5 to 94.5mm) for the 6721 model and 12x optical zoom (f=3.94 to 46.05mm) for the 6710 model. Additionally, both models include a 10x digital zoom.

The built-in OSD (On Screen Display) programming allows extensive customization to suit a variety of applications. The OSD allows the use of PTZ control, up to 128 preset locations, tours, auto-flip, and proportional pan-speed that gives the user an extremely high level of control. All of these features are contained in a sleek, IP 66 rated enclosure that provides protection from the elements. Both models comes standard with a fan and heater allowing it to function in extreme temperature conditions ranging from -40°C to +50°C (-40°F to 122°F).

“Channel Vision’s latest high definition PTZ cameras fulfill a unique niche and offer our customers a greater choice when selecting a camera to meet their different installation needs,” said Darrel Hauk, president and CEO of Channel Vision.

Controlled with either a Channel Vision 3G Series Surveillance DVR or from any device that supports Pelco D or Pelco P protocol, these fast, wide-range PTZ cameras make it possible to cover large perimeter areas. Recommended uses include general observation scenarios such as, office or apartment buildings, factories, or parking lots.
