Channel Vision Ships New Network Video Recorder

The new NVR provides users with more focused control, high-quality, reliable video recording and more options to integrate with existing systems than other NVRs on the market.

Channel Vision has begun shipping its new Network Video Recorder (NVR). The new NVR provides users with more focused control, high-quality, reliable video recording and more options to integrate with existing systems than other NVRs on the market.

The new NVR operates in four-channel mode and is designed for functionality and versatility in its various compatibility modes. Users can scan their recordings for a specific time, date, event, object, motion, or activity. The NVR also utilizes watchdog monitoring to ensure reliable functionality while recording, optimizing the efficiency of surveillance systems.

“Channel Vision’s new NVR has been highly anticipated for its features, settings and integration options—many of which are novel technologies among NVRs,” said president and CEO Darrel Hauk. “The automatic networking feature also makes setup of the NVR extremely user-friendly for the installer.”

The NVR-04N supports ONVIF protocol and features automatic networking—meaning it will automatically locate and add your IP cameras to the network. It supports up to a five-megapixel IP camera for each channel and HDMI video interface. In addition, the NVR features an RTSP stream input, which allows third-party cameras to be used with the recording device.

For a limited time, Channel Vision is offering a package deal to mark the arrival of the new four-channel NVR. Customers can buy the NVR and 2 IP surveillance cameras of their choice and receive two Mini Dome IP cameras (6532) for free. The offer is valid until June 30, or while supplies last.
