Savage, MN–Chief Manufacturing Inc. has appointed Scott Gill as president and CEO.
After joining Chief in March, 2004, Gill has led company operations as well as product development. Gill assumed the responsibility of COO late last year, successfully leading the merger between Chief and Sanus Systems. As president and CEO, Gill will provide global leadership for the combined Chief and Sanus Systems business.
Dale Glomsrud, the company’s current chairman, president, and CEO, will hand over the day-to-day operations to Gill but will continue in his current role as chairman of the board, focusing on development needs that support the strategic direction of the company. Glomsrud has been an integral part of the Chief business as president and CEO since 1988, and has grown the businesses to a global, 185-employee operation through concentrated, strategic product development, customer service focus, and integrated marketing efforts.
