Clare Controls‘ App for the iPad and iPhone is now available as a free download from the iTunes App Store.
From its inception, Clare has sought to allow ClareHome users to interact with interfaces that they design themselves, running on cost-effective, familiar devices like iPads and iPhones. By putting “People Over Places,” the new Clare Controls App brings a level of simplicity and control to home automation, inviting customers to personalize a ClareHome iPad or iPhone interface based on their favorite things to do, and not the room they happen to be in. The Clare Controls App presents users with a blank dashboard (called a Control Space) that they populate and manage without requiring outside assistance.
The App eliminates the recurring overhead (in time and money) that integrators traditionally invest in configuring the user interface, deploying services on a room-by-room basis. Instead, they just deploy all services to a Base Page that their customers access to create and manage their personalized UIs.
The free Clare Controls App also includes a built-in Demo Mode that integrators and homeowners can use to familiarize themselves with this advancement—without the need to be connected to a ClareHome System. Within moments of launching the demonstration, users can create and modify personal Control Spaces.
