Clare Controls Broadens Product Line with 24 Introductions

Although there are 24 new products on display in total, the big introduction for Clare Controls (Booth 2950) is the new CLIQ line modules, designed to unify AV and control experiences that snap together when the units are stacked.

Although there are 24 new products on display in total, the big introduction for Clare Controls (Booth 2950) is the new CLIQ line modules, designed to unify AV and control experiences that snap together when the units are stacked.

A single point of power, data, audio, and control interface between stacked CLIQ modules, the ClareBus eliminates the need for external wiring between components. This speeds and optimizes integration, sidestepping common problems caused by missing, improperly placed and/or defective jumper cables.

The first two products in the line to be introduced are the CLIQ Host and CLIQ Connect product. When these units are stacked together, they discover one another, autopopulate back to the host controller, and back into the cloud environment, automatically. To expand the IO ports on the CLIQ Connect product, the units are simply clicked together without screws, wires, and configuration.

A room controller product is coming next in 2014.

Clare Controls also released a new line of IP cameras in its ClareVision line, supporting HTTP streaming natively. There are three levels of IP camera offerings. There are also new NVRs (network video recorders) and a line of HDMI switches that are integrated into the ClareHome product family.

Another innovation at Clare Controls are two digital amplifiers, which were developed in partnership with ICE Power.

Clare has also released an Android client app for its ClareHome framework.
