Chekos’ 30-year career includes executive sales and marketing management positions with security companies such as Honeywell International and Vicon Industries.

An MBA with strong ties to the CEDIA community, Chekos will focus on channel strategy, business development, and management of Clare’s internal and external sales organizations, including its rapidly expanding network of rep firms throughout the Americas.

“Mark is an excellent match for today’s Clare Controls,” Price said. “He recognizes the unique opportunities that our cloud-based technology brings to new and traditional segments of the automation market. He shares the high priority we place on pleasing our dealers. And his entrepreneurial style fits right into our corporate culture. Absolutely everything about Mark’s impressive track record says that he will meet—and exceed—the high expectations we hold for him.”

“By refusing to accept a ‘business-as-usual’ attitude, Clare Controls has placed its products a level above the rest, and they do a great job of keeping customers happy,” Chekos added. “There are great parallels between the security and automation industries and applying that knowledge to Clare’s cutting-edge products and forward-thinking technologies will create huge potential for our dealers and partners.
