Colin Wilcox Joins Leon Speakers as Director of Residential Sales

Leon Speakers has expanded its team with the hire of a new director of residential sales, Colin Wilcox.

Leon Speakers has expanded its team with the hire of a new director of residential sales, Colin Wilcox.

Wilcox, who will be based out of Leon Speakers’ corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, will be responsible for leading the network of sales representative firms and dealers in the U.S. and Canada, as well as Leon Speakers’ team of inside sales rRepresentatives. He brings with him 11 years of sales and management experience to the position, having previously led sales teams at Thermo Fisher Scientific and VWR International.

Wilcox will be tasked with achieving sales targets, maximizing ROI and preparing the company for future growth. He will be working closely with other department heads including product design, production, marketing, and finance to ensure that strategic goals are clearly set and effectively communicated across the organization.

“Key to achieving my goals is to effectively communicate Leon’s core differentiators and unique company culture through creative presentations and successful proposals,” Wilcox said. “Through researching and gaining field knowledge to understand industry trends, it is also imperative that I inform the company of potential new products, production quality concerns and functional requirements to help Leon maintain its leadership position.”

Prior to joining Leon Speakers, Wilcox had been advancing his career primarily leading teams by overseeing performance and development, managing pricing agreements, developing key account relationships, and analyzing sales trends to plan and execute growth strategies. With an MBA and a technical background, he comes to Leon Speakers well equipped to help support and grow the business.
