A growing number of leading brands such as Crestron, Vantage, Savant, AMX and Control4 are supporting Middle Atlantic’s RackLink power management modules within their control systems to provide additional capabilities for residential installations.
These and other partners such as RTI, Aurora, URC, Key Digital and Ihiji are choosing RackLink because the system’s open architecture facilitates integration into virtually any control system or management platform.
The RackLink suite of products provide real time feedback and historical data of power usage, voltage fluctuations and temperature that can be sent to the control system for data collection, user alerts and real time status of the of an AV system’s health. It also reduces the amount of on-site service calls by remotely controlling power to AV devices and rebooting devices that might lock up using a built-in auto ping feature.
Asked about the increased incorporation of RackLink, Middle Atlantic Applications Engineer Paul Mott said: “RackLink products have become widely accepted by our control system partners because they add a new level of energy management for residential installations while saving time, money and promoting environmental efficiency.”
