Control4 has announced its first-ever social media training for Control4 dealers, scheduled to debut on May 15, 2012.
In each interactive training session, Control4 will review major social media platforms – including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest – to help dealers and distributors gain strategic advice and discover how best to leverage them to build their business.
“The development of the Control4 Social Media Training Program is a direct response to dealer need,” said Jim Arnold, Control4 senior vice president of sales. “Our dealers have asked for help navigating social media marketing, and we’re committed to providing it. Effective social media use provides direct access to current and prospective clients, while also enabling dealers to highlight their accomplishments and share industry insight-all of which plays into stronger branding and stronger businesses.”
Each training session will be lead by Control4 social media expert Josh Brockmann, and will provide the latest recommendations and guidance for developing highly effective and optimized social media profiles. The presentations will also demonstrate the value provided by the leading social media platforms, highlighting their relative strengths for different business goals. Dealers will also have the chance to learn from peer case studies, seeing first-hand how social media has helped to increase business in the custom installation field.
Two live sessions of the Social Media Training Webinar for Control4 Dealers will be hosted on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. MDT and on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. MDT. The session will also be recorded so that dealers who are unable to attend live can still benefit from the information when it’s convenient to their schedules.
