Core Brands Promotes Eric Herdman to Product Manager, ELAN Core Brands has promoted Eric Herdman to product manager for the ELAN brand, reporting directly to Mike Jordan, Core Brands vice president, product management.RS Staff ⋅ Sep 1, 2016 Core Brands has promoted Eric Herdman to product manager for the ELAN brand, reporting directly to Mike Jordan, Core Brands vice president, product management. “Eric has consistently impressed me with his knowledge of the ELAN platform, the eco-system that surrounds it and the dealers who install it,” Jordan said today. “He has a vision of where ELAN needs to go in the future. Eric is the ideal product manager for the brand. Eric has been a vital part of the ELAN team since 2007, and has played a key role in developing the award-winning training programs that have empowered ELAN dealers and installers to make the benefits of the ELAN control system available to customers around the world. Eric truly understands the custom installer’s perspective, and we’re thrilled to have him oversee the brand’s hardware product development,” Jordan added. As product manager of ELAN, Herdman is responsible for the development and implementation of ELAN’s long-term hardware product strategy and execution. Herdman began working with ELAN nine years ago after several years as a successful custom installer. Most recently, he was Core Brands’ training program manager, developing the training programs to support new product and software launches, while also building out the company’s online training initiative.
