Crestron expanded its AV receiver selection with the $5,500-suggested 7.1-channel HD-XSPA, which is designed to integrate with the company’s DigitalMedia whole-house 4K AV system.

Audio technology manager Dennis Fink said that before the launch of the new AVR, installers had to install both a Creston AVR and a Digital Media receiver in each room as part of a Crestron multiroom-AV system.
