Crestron Cultivates Lighting Affiliations

Crestron has joined IESNA and LIRC, two key lighting industry groups.

Rockleigh, NJ–Crestron is now a member of two lighting trade organizations–the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and the Lighting Industry Resource Council (LIRC).

According to company representatives, these memberships, along with the introduction of the LightSource brand name, further illustrate Crestron’s commitment to the lighting industry.

“Our LightSource brand of lighting and automation products is a very important part of Crestron’s business, both now and in the future,” said Crestron executive vice president, Randy Klein. “We want the lighting industry to embrace Crestron and LightSource as one of its own, so joining industry organizations like the IES and LIRC is essential to becoming part of this community.”

LightSource by Crestron is the industry’s most inclusive lighting control and automation solution to be released in its 20-year lighting manufacture history. It encompasses five automation enclosures, seven module options and remote room dimmer and switch options.
