Crestron has announced its plans to expand the integrated home technology marketplace. The initiatives include creating a new support structure consisting of Market Development Managers to demonstrate the value of integrated home technology and working more closely with the design community to build deeper relationships.

Crestron appointed two AV industry veterans, John D’Angelo and Frank Clark, as its new Market Development Managers in Phoenix to facilitate communication and collaboration between Crestron, integrators, and designers.

In its continuing efforts to drive awareness and demand for integrated home technology and to expand the custom installation industry, Crestron is also working closely with architects and designers to build contemporary showrooms throughout the country that blend modern design and integrated technology to create immersive, interactive environments for clients to experience. D’Angelo and Clark will spearhead a partnership between Crestron and Scottsdale-based design firm, Est. Est., to create the collaborative state-of-the-art design center in Phoenix.

“The creation of new positions and addition of more resources demonstrates our commitment to the continued development of the residential market in Phoenix, and nationally,” said Crestron executive vice president, Randy Klein. “We are putting more resources in each market to support our local partners and pursuing new business opportunities with architects, builders and interior/lighting designers.”

“The collaboration between Crestron and the design community provides more opportunities for integrators, and ultimately gives home owners the best integrated home technology experience,” Klein said.

D’Angelo has 24 years experience in the home entertainment industry. D’Angelo owned Invision Home Systems and utilized both AV services and custom design/build elements focused on home theater and cabinet design, electrical and solar. Clark has 25 years experience in the AV business, and owned Dream Home Entertainment in Scottsdale.
