Crestron Joins Wire Business

Crestron has engineered a new line of company-branded wire simply called "Crestron Wire."

Rockleigh, NJ–Crestron has engineered a new line of company-branded wire simply called “Crestron Wire.”

Company officials say that the addition of wire to the companys extensive product lineup offers its dealers more choices when weaving Crestrons many Total Home Technology solutions together, adds connectivity options for integrating the MediaManager family of products and provides a ready-made pathway for Crestrons exclusive QuickMedia transport system.

Our new wire products represent another example of how Crestron wants to make it easy to do business with us, said executive VP Randy Klein. Dealers can now get the best wire available from the same place as the control systems, touchpanels and many other products that make up their integrated solutions. This helps reduce design and installation time while providing more options for our customers, and their initial response has been very positive.

Crestron wire is now in stock and shipping direct from Crestron. As an incentive to dealers looking to reach higher sales levels in its Dealer Rewards Program, the company is counting all sales of Crestron wire as qualified purchases.

Crestron Wire options include:

Cresnet control wire is available in both PVC and plenum, with a selection of spool sizes and convenient pull boxes. In addition, the new Cresnet-DM provides a low-profile wiring solution designed specifically for use with our CLW-Series Wall Box Dimmers and Switches

CresCAT structured wire is available in all of the familiar configurations to support versatile multi-room AV distribution using our CAT5 balanced AV distribution switchers, processors, and room solution boxes.

CresCAT-QM QuickMedia wire, available in PVC and plenum, provides the PROAV industry’s simplest and most cost-effective wiring solution for multimedia signal distribution and control.
