Crestron’s DM-TX-200-2G wall plate transmitter has been designed to ensure simple and convenient connectivity for computers, laptops, and the latest digital sources such as MacBooks and Blu-ray players.
Part of the DigitalMedia line, the DM-TX-200-2G enables switching between one HDMI and one RGB input, according to the company. The HDMI input supports HDMI with HDCP; WUXGA computer resolutions, and 1080p60 HDTV with multi-channel lossless audio. All signals are digitally transmitted up to 450 feet over DigitalMedia (DM) cable.
“DM wall plates give you remote input connectivity for virtually any AV source,” Crestron director of marketing Vincent Bruno explained. “They are the perfect solution for integrating digital and analog sources via a single cable.”
A USB HID device port allows a mouse/keyboard to control a computer or other host device in another part of the room or a central equipment rack.
