Criteria, B&W Debut The Nautilus

The systems integration firm teamed up with the speaker manufacturer to host an exclusive auditioning party of B&Ws latest flagship product.

Hollywood, FL–Dania Beach-based installation firm, Criteria, and speaker manufacturer Bowers & Wilkins, the premiere manufacturer of speaker products, hosted an exclusive auditioning party of B&Ws Nautilus speakers at The Westin Diplomats Nikki Marina in Hollywood, Florida, last week.

Over 250 people witnessed the precision and clarity of B&Ws flagship product, The Nautilus, against Nikki Marinas beautiful intracoastal backdrop. The original Nautilus tapered tube loading system took center stage as guests arrived at the marina. They were then treated to a variety of speaker auditions in a series of demonstration rooms and vignettes. Styled after Nikki Beach Club dcor, the first vignette featured a white linen bed in front of a high-definition plasma television with B&W XT4 and XT2 contemporary, minimalist, surround-sound speakers.

Attendees were then whisked off to Criterias listening room, custom built for the event by the Criteria team, to witness the enthusiasm of a two speaker stereo demonstration of a pair of Nautilus 800 speakers. A highlight of the evening was the viewing of a Godsmack concert video broadcast with clean perfectionism on the Nautilus 800 series. Nautilus speakers will be installed in all Jaguar C-XF concept cars, so guests also had the opportunity to admire luxurious Alpine Jaguars. Dewars Distilleries, one of the events sponsors, mixed special The Nautilus drinks for guests.

Michael Silverman, CEO of Criteria, David Tovissi, president of Criteria and Marc Scnoll, regional sales manager of the B&W Group were excited to provide the concept of passionate listening by which John Bowers defined his company. Because Criteria does not have a showroom in its headquarters, the event provided the opportunity to demonstrate B&Ws superior speakers to its clients in an elaborate setting.
