The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has announced new Tech Briefings, Floor Tours, and a CES Breakfast Series in partnership with ShellyPalmer Strategic Advisors (a division of The Palmer Group). Owned and produced by the Consumer Technology Association, CES 2017 will run January 5-8, 2017, in Las Vegas.
“The Tech Briefings and Floor Tours are perfect for people who want deep insights into consumer technology and industry trends,” said Karen Chupka, senior vice president, CES and corporate business strategy, CTA. “We have worked closely with Shelly Palmer and his team of subject matter experts to create a deeper dive into the technology experience.”
Registered CES attendees can take 90-minute ShellyPalmer Trendspotting Tech Briefings and Floor Tours of either Tech East [Las Vegas Convention and World Trade Center (LVCC)] or Tech West [Sands Expo/The Venetian (the Sands)] for $995 per person, or an approximately 3-hour combined tour, which covers both Tech East and Tech West for $1,495 per person (private transportation between LVCC and the Sands is included).
Tech East Tours showcase innovative technologies from today’s top categories such as automotive, smartphones, tablets, televisions, home electronics, and audio. Tech West Tours feature companies and innovations shaping the future in areas such as health and wellness, wearables, robotics, IoT, 3D printing, and smart home.
“The new Trendspotting Tech Briefings and Floor Tours are great for busy executives who need to maximize their time at CES 2017,” said Shelly Palmer, CEO of The Palmer Group. “We’ve been curating and leading tours at CES since 1996, but this is truly a transformational year. We’re thrilled to team up with CTA to help make this the best CES ever.”
Trendspotting Tech Briefings and Floor Tours are available to all registered CES attendees on January 5-7. Tours depart from the ShellyPalmer tour booths located in the LVCC, South Hall 1 Lobby at Tech East or the Sands, Level 2 Lobby, at Tech West. Individuals will be placed in small groups based on departure time. Private group tours are available.
On January 6 from 7:30 to 10 a.m., Palmer and several guest speakers will explore the influence the on-demand economy, autonomous devices, and machine learning are having on consumer behavior during the Innovation Series Breakfast presented by ShellyPalmer. This CES networking event gathers leaders in technology, media, entertainment, marketing, government, and finance who create value by leveraging their knowledge of consumer technology.
