CSI, an international, independent manufacturer’s sales rep firm, has added Bernie Sharpe to its team, effective immediately.
A 36-year veteran of the audio video industry with extensive expertise selling custom install AV products, Sharpe is a national sales and product management specialist with deep knowledge of a broad range of AV products as well as the channels and applications they are best suited for. Sharpe has previously worked for Sonance, Architectural Audio, AudioWorks, and Amber Technology.
Instrumental in developing the custom installation market in Australia, Sharpe has been affiliated with CSI for the past 16 years. In this new role, he will primarily focus his energies on the Oceania markets for CSI brands, however in the future his responsibilities will likely expand to include the South East Asian market.
“We fully expect Bernie to continue to grow the Australian market, seek new markets for our products, and represent the CSI brands effectively and profitably,” said Roger Campbell, president of Custom Solutions International (CSI). “He will be an amazing resource for our dealers, our distributors, and our manufacturers alike. A 2011 winner of the Dana Innovations Sales Excellence Award recognizing the success of his 18-years selling Sonance products, Sharpe is bringing his signature enthusiasm and dedication to his new post and is looking forward to working with CSI customers, partners and team.
