North American computer and consumer electronics distributor D&H Distributing will conduct its Mid-Atlantic 2010 Fall Technology Show on November 2, 2010, at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania. This is the last show on D&H’s 2010 trade show roster, until the 2011 schedule begins next March.

The event has attracted more than 160 participating vendors and approximately 800 anticipated attendees.

It will offer an Emerging Technologies Pavilion spotlighting the latest market innovations. The majority of the manufacturers in this hall will make their debut at the D&H Mid-Atlantic Show. They include Aeon Lighting Technology (a.k.a. ALT LED lighting), (ALTAZ (Internet clock radio/digital photo frame), Archos (Android mini-tablet), Gear Head (webcams, peripherals), InnoDigital (“Web Tube” Android-based IPTV), Pixtree (TV tuners), IS Communications (interactive projector/board systems), Livio (Internet radio), New Potato (phones, PDAs), Nokia (phones, PDAs), Interlink Electronics (remote units), and XSKN (shells, cases).

Booths of interest will include a Microsoft Xbox exhibit, where attendees can try their hands (and the rest of their bodies) at the new Kinect motion-sensitive gaming system; plus a D&H Photo/Video Accessories booth.

Participating D&H vendors include Acer, ASUS, Canon, Creative Labs, Haier, Hannspree, MSI, Panasonic, Pogoplug, Ricoh, SanDisk, Sony, and Toshiba. This is in addition to seminars from Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, HP, and Lenovo. D&H also will host a Logistics Booth that shows off some of the ecologically sound shipping techniques that have been implemented at the distributor’s warehouses.

The D&H Cares charity foundation will get into the trade show act this year. This staff-based organization will be taking donations on behalf of Ronald McDonald Charities of Central PA during the show at its own booth. Those who contribute will be entered to win a Toshiba 46-inch LED HDTV. Other giveaways of the day will include the Grand Prize Haier 40-inch LED HDTV, sponsored by Cisco; and one attendee per seminar will win a 22-inch lightweight expandable rolling case, sponsored by Case Logic.

Registration is free to D&H customers. Many attendees are anticipating the special show-day-only discounts available to customers at the show, making it an occasion to save on the market’s latest and greatest merchandise.

D&H ships out of five separate locations in North America, including its U.S. headquarters in Harrisburg and its Canadian headquarters in Mississauga, Ontario. Additional US warehouses are located in Atlanta, Chicago, and Fresno, California.
