D&M Names Poggi President, Americas

D&M Holdings has named Brian Poggi president, sales and marketing/Americas, reporting directly to D&M Holdings president, Consumer Group Tim Bailey.

Poggi will be based here and and have responsibility for directing new product, marketing and operating initiatives for D&M consumer brands including Denon and Marantz and Boston Acoustics.

He has brings over 30 years of management experience. In CE-related businesses Poggi was with Polaroid for 20 years where he was senior VP/GM, North America, leading the $1.3 billion business, president of General Electric’s GE Security Commercial Solutions Group, and he also led Life Clips, a market leader of consumer analog-to-digital home-video services available at retail.

Prior to joining D&M he was chief marketing officer at Aegis Living, a leading industry leading senior health care provider.

Bailey said in a statement, “We are delighted to have an executive of Brian’s proven ability and expertise join our D&M team.
