David Bruce Appointed Vice-Chair for HLCA

An alliance member and industry veteran from Square D, Bruce is slated to help promote lighting control.

Warrenton, VA–David Bruce of SquareD/Clipsal has been elected by the members of the Home Lighting Control alliance as the groups Vice-Chair. Bruce joined the alliance on behalf of Square D at the outset last September and has been an active participant in the group’s development.

David Bruce has 24 years of professional experience in the electrical and controls industry having worked with top companies such as Sylvania, Challenger/Westinghouse, Cutler-Hammer, and Square D. Upon Square D’s acquisition of Clipsal, Bruce was promoted to national sales manager for the brand in 2005.

Among his many accomplishments was the launch of the very first Square D/Clipsal Lighting Control Design Centre in Orlando, Florida. Bruce supervised construction of the state-of-the-art facility, which serves as a showcase of lighting control and home automation for designers, homebuilders, architects, and integrators. Bruce recently relocated to Orlando.
