DBL Distributing Appoints VP of Merchandising

Tim Coakley to lead companys strategic merchandising, marketing, and purchasing initiatives.

Scottsdale, AZ–DBL Distributing LLC has appointed Tim Coakley as senior vice president of merchandising and purchasing. He will be responsible for leading DBLs marketing, merchandising, and purchasing initiatives as well as driving the companys online marketing initiatives.

Coakley will also oversee the maintenance and development of relationships among DBLs growing list of more than 450 manufacturing partners. In addition, Coakley will drive the execution of all merchandising and branding activities related to the companys award winning DBL Catalog, DBL Sale Flyers, DBL Dispatch, advertising and the companys website at dbldistributing.com.

Coakley is a seasoned consumer electronics veteran with more than 25 years of industry experience. His successful career is highlighted by strategic merchandising and marketing activities with such notable consumer electronics companies as CompUSA and goodguys!. Most recently, Coakley held the position of Vice President Merchandising at CompUSA. In this position, Coakley was responsible for overseeing all purchasing, marketing and merchandising initiatives. Prior to CompUSA, Coakley held the position of Vice President of Merchandising for goodguys!
