DBL Distributing Names Regional Sales Director

The company has appointed Dennis Shultz to its key accounts channel.

Scottsdale, AZ–DBL Distributing has named Dennis Shultz as regional sales director of key accounts.

2007 is the year to make things happen in our young and rapidly growing key accounts segment. As such, we are continuing to invest heavily in our sales team. Dennis will play a key role in making our presence known on the Mid-West and West Coast regions, said Bruce Kuperman, senior vice president of sales. Dennis brings vast experience and know-how in building high-yield sales programs related to consumer electronics and distribution. He has spent the past twenty years designing, developing and implementing new sales programs that consistently resulted in new business, increased sales, streamlined operations and improved customer satisfaction.

Shultz joins DBL from Monster Cable Products where he was the national sales manager for distribution and special markets. Since the early 1980s, he has worked for innovative consumer electronic manufacturing companies, such as Compaq Computer Corporation, Hewlett Packard, Toshiba America Consumer Products, and Hitachi Home Electronics.

The online distribution channel is commanding attention from manufacturers as a necessary means to stay relevant in a competitive marketplace, reach new customers and manage the cost of sales and distribution, so the timing is perfect to introduce our already successful suite of fulfillment services solutions to a broader audience. Dennis has the built in skill set necessary for growing new and existing fulfillment service and e-commerce accounts among click and mortar consumer electronics dealers and retailers nationwide said Kuperman.
