Scottsdale, AZ–DBL Distributing raised more than $215, 000 for Phoenix-area charities during its 6th Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Dinner Gala earlier this month.
Hosted by DBL owners David Lorsch and his wife, Cindy Lubin, the event benefited The Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Greater Phoenix ($100,000) and The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale ($100,000). The remaining $15,000 will be distributed to other charities in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area.
“Our manufacturers’ generosity and support surpassed our expectations and helped us exceed our fundraising goal for the event–they know their contributions and donations are going to very worthy organizations that impact the lives of over 50,000 family’s and individuals each year,” said Lorsch. “The mission of Jewish Family and Children’s Service and The Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is very close all of our hearts–it is an honor to be presenting such substantial donations to their worthwhile causes. Thank you for supporting the families and children of our community and for your continuous support.”
Over the history of the event DBL has raised over $750,000.
