Las Vegas, NV–Destination Audio will sponsor Deer Park, Illinois-based Sound & Video Racing’s participation in National Auto Sports Association (NASA) and the Porsche Club of America (PCA) for the 2007 racing season. The announcement was made by Sound & Video Racing team owner and driver Randy Looke and Gary Tanner, director of sales for Destination Audio.
The 2007 racing season marks Destination Audio’s second year of sponsorship of Sound & Video Racing, as well as the team’s new entry into the NASA Super Unlimited 1 series (SU1) in the Midwest and national region. During 2006, Sound & Video Racing scored an impressive three first place wins, four second place wins and many accolades in race car developments within the racing community. This year the team will attempt to compete in the Porsche Club of America (Chicago Region) GT2 group, an even more competitive group.
“We’re very excited to raise our level of motorsport participation, to continue to grow as a team and expand the business opportunities for our valued marketing partner, Destination Audio,” explained Looke. “As a major audio products supplier, the NASA and PCA series are appropriate arenas in American motorsports for a company like Destination Audio. We look forward to continuing our productive relationship as we move forward together in this new and exciting racing season.”
“Destination Audio is pleased to extend our association with Sound & Video Racing as we join the NASA and PCA series for 2007,” said Tanner. “We have been working closely with Sound & Video Racing for two years, and are excited as we move into this new racing season together. The NASA and PCA series deliver competitive motorsports action for our distributors and dealers throughout the nation as well as the employees of Destination Audio. We’re confident Randy and his team will deliver plenty of excitement on the track.”
