Harrisburg, PA–Computer and CE gear distributor, D&H Distributing, has appointed John Alifano as manager of its Consumer Electronics Division.
Alifano, who was most recently a sales manager at D&H, began his tenure at the company in 1985 as a territory sales representative. He was later promoted to division manager of satellite products. In addition to positions with other CE-related companies, he served as a regional manager at Hughes Network Systems, a manufacturer of DirecTV set-top boxes, before returning to D&H Distributing to eventually lead its growing CE Division.
“It’s a thrill to become a division manager at D&H at such an exciting point in the market,” Alifano said. “I’m ready to drive the division sales, and take advantage of the great new technologies our vendors are offering in to the market. At D&H, it’s always about assuring a great customer experience and finding incremental sales opportunities for our vendor partners.”
