D&H Distributing, the North American computer products and consumer electronics distributor, is opening its 2013 trade show schedule with the 11th Annual West Coast Technology Show on March 14 at the Pacific Palms Resort in Industry Hills, CA.

Registration starts at 12:00 noon and seminars run from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. The exhibit floor, replete with booths from more than 65 D&H vendor partners, will be open from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. The distributor expects upwards of 500 attendees.

The 2013 West Coast educational agenda includes presentations from Microsoft, Cisco, Intel, HP, Lenovo, and more. Topics will touch on some of the most provocative developments in the marketplace, from the challenges of the selling cloud infrastructures, to Windows 8 and Microsoft Office 2013, to the evolution of the Ultrabook market. Registration for the show is free for D&H customers.

The event will feature recent innovations from Acer, ASUS, Epson, Kensington, Lexmark, Linksys, Motorola, NVIDIA, Ricoh, Samsung, Seagate, Toshiba, ViewSonic and others. Vendors making their debut at the West Coast event include Amethyst Innovations Corporation (iPod/iPhone speakers), Ciil Technologies (waterproof outdoor displays), GUNNAR Optiks (computer eyewear), Intellinet Network Solutions (IC INTRACOM, networking products), j5 create (cables, converters, external video cards), Manhattan Products (peripherals), NTT Advanced Technology Corp. (videoconferencing), Power Bright Technologies (power solutions) and Tely Labs (HD Skype).

This year’s show boasts a Microsoft Office Booth, giving attendees a look at a functional office environment with various components and accessories built around the new MS Office suite. It will feature solutions from manufacturers including 3Dconnexion (3D mice), Acco (office supplies), APC, Casio, Cisco, Motorola, Gyration (motion-sensing mice), HP, Lexmark, NeatReceipts (digital filing), Plantronics, Samsung, SMK-Link (peripherals), Solidtek (peripherals), and Tripp Lite.

At the end of the show, attendees can fill out a survey grading the event. Those who complete the survey will be eligible to win the entire bundled solution exhibited in the Microsoft Office Booth; winner to be announced after the event is closed.

The D&H trade shows were designed as active “selling shows,” so customers will be offered special, show-floor-only discounts. The event is also not shy of prizes: one lucky winner at each seminar will receive a Case Logic 30-inch XN Urban Rolling Duffel. And one attendee will take home a Grand Prize of a 40-inch Ciil UltraView weatherproof LCD TV. Attendees will be issued a “D&H Passport,” to be stamped at various booths. Those who fill up their passports will be eligible to win an Xbox 360 gaming system.

D&H customers can visit dandh.com, contact their representative or call at (800) 340-1007 regarding registration.

“Our events have always chronicled, and even anticipated, the latest industry developments. The shows provide a structure by which to deliver pertinent instructions on how retailers and dealers can respond to emerging trends,” said Mary Campbell, vice president of marketing at D&H Distributing. “It’s rare for dealers to be presented with this great a volume of product information in a single forum, without even a registration charge. We’re proud to give back to our customers in this manner.”
