Alachua, FL–DH Labs release of a proprietary HDMI 1.3a cable makes it one of the only specialty/high-end cable suppliers currently shipping HDMI cables compliant with the latest 1.3a specifications. This HDMI delivers more than twice the data capacity of the 1.2 cables, which currently dominate the market.
The custom cable exceeds 1.3a specs, and supports 1440p Deep Color video, and up to 7.1-channel audio. It features unique surface-treated, silver-coated OFC copper conductors encased in a nitrogen gas-injected dielectric for ultra low loss, and a custom connector assembly housing 24-karat gold contacts. Extensive internal and external shielding provides maximum rejection of RF and electromagnetic interference. Cable lengths at 9 meters or more are equipped with a built-in equalizer/amplifier to maintain 1080p capability.
The cable is available in lengths from 0.5 to 15 meters.
