D&H Reports Record Growth

D&H reached 27 percent revenue growth over the third and fourth quarters of 2004.

Harrisburg, PA–D&H Distributing, the national computer products and consumer electronics distributor, reached 27 percent revenue growth over the third and fourth quarters of 2004, fueled in part by its campaign to promote cross-market opportunities in digital convergence and home networking.

Close to 36 percent of D&H’s CE-based customers, including dealers, custom installers, and home networking integrators, are now selling IT products as part of their offerings (based on sales figures from the second half of 2004).

“D&H made a concerted effort in 2004 to identify the potential presented by digital convergence,” stated Dan Schwab, vice president of marketing at D&H. “We’re now seeing that come to fruition in the CE and home entertainment community, illustrated by increased dealer sales, and by our own overall growth as a multidivisional distributor.”

In addition, D&H Distributing will demonstrate a fully-functional home entertainment network at its booth at the EHX Spring 05 trade show. The “Digital House” display featured CE- and IT-based solutions from D&H partners including Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Toshiba, Linksys, SMC, Russound, ARCHOS, ViewSonic, Elite and Belkin.
