D&M Shuffles Brand Sales and Marketing

Mahwah, NJ — With the goal of optimizing the combined strengths of Denon Electronics and Boston Acoustics, the brands’ owner, D&M Holdings, has created a reorganization plan to integrate the sales and marketing operations of both brands.

In a statement released today, D&M North American sales and marketing president, Bob Weissburg, said that, effective December 15, Denon and Boston Acoustics U.S. sales and marketing operations will be under the supervision of Joe Stinziano, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Denon Electronics and Boston Acoustics. Additionally, all North American sales and marketing operations for Snell Acoustics will be integrated into those of McIntosh Laboratory, under the overall supervision of Steve Mulnick, director of domestic sales and marketing.

In related news, Phil Cohn, formerly senior vice president of Boston Acoustics and Snell Acoustics, will assume overall responsibility for marketing and sales of Marantz and Escient brands in the U.S. Paul Tamberelli will assume the role of national sales manager for Escient, reporting to Cohn.

Kevin Zarow will continue to serve as vice president for marketing and product development for Marantz.

“I’m confident that with these changes at D&M, we will be even better positioned to serve our retail, custom integrator, and distributor customers and continue to build success for all our brands,” Weissburg stated.
