D-Tools Inc. has released a new searchable Online Data Library for custom integrators using the D-Tools website. It enables users to rate products, make comments, and requests for more information or incomplete data.

The Online Data Library provides a view into D-Tools’ manufacturer database, giving system integrators and manufacturers an easy-to-use resource to search and find detailed product information such as basic features, dimensions, MSRP, and available accessories as well as more detailed information such as images, documentation, and I/Os.

Users can comment on and rate each item, or subscribe to be alerted to new additions and updates to the database. This new resource has been designed to promote interactivity among System Integrator users and manufacturers by allowing them to comment and weigh in on the data, creating a community-based environment for the industry.

“We are very proud of the work we have accomplished with our Online Data Library,” said Adam Stone, president and CEO of D-Tools. “We have been very active in transforming our company platform to incorporate Web 2.0 functionality and our Data Library provides a useful platform for our users to consume, understand, and comment on vital product information from both our manufacturer MVP partners as well as other leading manufacturers. Data is what drives our software and by combining our new improved methods for data gathering and accuracy with this new online resource we have made it even easier for system integrators to specify, design, and ultimately deliver expert systems for their client engagements.”
