DVDO Holds Auction to Benefit ASPCA

The companys June auction aims to raise funds for the 140-year old animal protection organization.

Campbell, CA–DVDO has chosen the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) as the June beneficiary of its monthly online auction program promoting corporate responsibility. Each month DVDO auctions off a new product package via the website www.dvdo.com/charityauction/, and donates all the proceeds to a different worth cause. The companys May auction raised $2,200, the largest amount to date, to benefit the Elf Foundation.

The auction package for June includes a brand new and recently launched DVDO iScan VP20 in the box with full warranty and an upgrade package. When integrated into a home entertainment set-up, the VP20 offers state-of-the-art video processing allowing users to watch all video sources in the native high definition. The upgrade package includes a user-installable VRS Precision Dinterlacing Card as well as DVDOs new VP20 silver faceplate. The total retail value of the package is $2,297.

“DVDO and Anchor Bay Technologies are proud to help our nation’s animal population and the people who dedicate their lives to ensuring the safety and well-being of animals. We are happy to support the ASPCA by offering a DVDO iScan VP20 with upgrades as our June charity auction item,” said worldwide director of sales and marketing, Gary Chappell.

The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) will commemorate its 140th anniversary this June. Founded in 1866, the ASPCA was the first organization established to prevent cruelty to animals.
