In December, DVDO will begin shipping DVDO Air, a wireless solution that enables customers to wall-mount or place HDTVs anywhere in a room without visible HDMI cables.
According to DVDO, its new product allows one to mount an HDTV and wireless receiver on the wall and connect DVDO Mobile or any other HDMI source component to the wireless transmitter “with plug-and-play simplicity.”
The DVDO Air brings wireless big-screen HDTV connectivity to advanced mobile phones and tablets. By combining the power of the DVDO Air wireless HDMI connection system with the DVDO Mobile solution, users can now wirelessly connect a wide range of electronic devices to their HDTV – and not just Blu-ray Disc players, cable TV, or game consoles, but the latest smart phones, tablets, and computers – all in up to 1080p full HD picture quality with 7.1 channel sound, according to the company.
