Jump starting its 2013 third-party developer program, ELAN Home Systems revealed that its ELAN g! Entertainment and Control System is now compatible with the VIVOTEK line of IP-based security cameras.

VIVOTEK IP cameras are supported in ELAN g! version 6.1 or newer, and the g! system supports video streaming, PTZ, motion detection and image flip functions in the cameras. The g!Tools Network Manager can automatically discover VIVOTEK cameras on the network, making it faster and easier than ever for integrators to implement a whole home surveillance and security system.

VIVOTEK’s 8000 series IP camera line ranges in image resolution from VGA to HD to 5-megapixel, including models that provide many advanced features such as Supreme Night Visibility, H.264 compression, removable IR-cut filter with built in IR illuminators, P-iris, remote zoom and focus and much more.
