The PowerMax Sonic supports UltraHD projection and is ideal for positioning over in-wall speakers.“The new Power Max Sonic continues in the tradition of our award-winning A4K acoustic transparent material, which set a new industry benchmark for image quality and sonic clarity.” said Jeff Klida, VP of sales for Elite Prime Vision. “Its moiré-free, reference-level performance combined with a premium tubular motor, integrated control circuitry and elegant case design makes it a category standout and an unprecedented value.”

The PowerMax Sonic fulfills a multitude of roles that are essential in today’s innovative home theater. With today’s audiovisual requirements moving the big screen out of the dedicated room and into a more multi-purpose environment, it is necessary to provide a more versatile solution. The PowerMax Sonic is the marriage of EPV’s successful PowerMax platform with an acoustically transparent material that can accommodate UltraHD projection without moiré and other visual artifacts.

The PowerMax Sonic utilizes a streamlined arcuate casing that has a moisture-resistant black enamel coat. It uses a fast-acting 95 watt/220 volt tubular motor that is capable of 14 rpm with a lift capacity of 6 newton meters or 4.4 foot pounds. The sonic white acoustically transparent material is a 0.9 gain material that has wide diffusion uniformity. It is ideal for positioning over in-wall speakers. Sound passes through the fabric with a-2.3dB average insertion loss while being able to support (UHD) 1080P to 4K projector resolution. This means that the same commercial cinema quality can be attained in the comfort of your own home or business establishment at a small fraction of the cost. Included is a full control package including IR/RF controls, three-way ethernet wall switch, and 12-volt trigger to coordinate the screen’s operation with the projector’s power cycle. Installation is a snap, literally. Its sliding installation brackets mount quickly and snap the PowerMax into place. Because the brackets slide horizontally, the screen will be perfectly centered every time.
