Elite Screen’s new East Coast facility

Elite Screens has opened a new East Coast facility in Macon, GA.

“Elite has enjoyed unprecedented expansion and this has led to the necessity of a regional facility,” said Dave Rodgers, marketing manager for Elite Screens. “In addition to the Southeast United States, our new Georgia facility will also service our growing distribution in the various Latin American countries as well.”

With an additional 84,600 square feet of office and warehouse space, the Georgia location will enable the firm to keep pace with the EST zones in both product and service.

This facility will operate as Elite Screen’s Southeast and Latin American hub for logistics and service support. The convenient location allows the customers in its designated U.S. region to now receive product within two business days for most ground services. The Georgia branch will also provide product and support to its various distributors throughout Latin America.

The Georgia facility will carry all the same products as the California location. More than 2,000 different types of projection screens are now in stock and available for immediate distribution to the Southeast U.S. Inventory will begin to arrive in July, and Elite Screens expects to carry all SKUs for itself, EPV Screens (Dedicated Custom Install Product), and Advaning (Elite’s subsidiary company that sells outdoor awnings) by Q4 of 2016. It is expected that the Georgia facility will be able to reduce shipping costs throughout the Southeast U.S. territory by up to 50 percent.
