Elite Screens has begun shipping its Saker Tab-Tension with new AcousticPro UHD Material to complement this line of higher-end video projection screens.
Elite Screens’ Saker Tab-Tension with AcousticPro UHD Projection Screen is available now in a range of sizes from 100 to 120 inches. “Due to the diversity of our customer segments, there should always be a good-better-best,” said Dave Rodgers, marketing manager at Elite Screens. “This is established so that customers can get precisely what they want without over-spending for what they don’t need. The Saker Tab-Tension Series provides more refinement in design and function than the average online AV product, but comes at a more modest price tag than something tailor-made for a custom installation.”
Elite Screens’ Saker Tab-Tension with AcousticPro UHD is a motorized projection screen that uses a morie-free acoustically transparent projection material. The AcousticPro UHD material is a 1.0-gain porous weave that is so fine, it can be used with UHD (4K) projectors. Its 0.32-millimeter perforations are virtually imperceptible.
The small stature of the openings allow sound from in-wall speakers behind it to pass through the material with only a 2.36 dB average insertion loss, and without creating visual artifacts such as the moiré. It uses a professional grade tab-tensioned design that enhances flatness and aesthetic appeal. The material’s flame-retardant properties are compliant with NFPA 701 standards.
The material is housed in a stylish arcuate-profiled aluminum gloss casing, and is operated by means of a silent and power-saving synchronous motor. Standard control accessories include an IR/RF wireless control package with, three-way wall box, RJ45 connections, and a 5–12 volt wireless trigger.
Elite Screens’ Saker Tab-Tension with AcousticPro UHD Projection Screen is available now in a range of sizes from 100 to 120 inches, in a 16:9 HDTV format through the retail sales channel. It comes with Elite’s two-year manufacturer’s warranty and a three-year ENR-G warranty for educational, non-profit, religious, and government/military organizations.
